Jack Forrest
Business Operations, Land Stewardship & Off-Grid Systems
Software engineer and expedition guide with six years on the road. Previously served the nomad community with rig building workshops hosted from his shop trailer, and the occasional pop-up “van hangar” makerspaces.
Carson Hotaling
Community Organizing, Media & Operational Design
Long-time community organizer with five years on the road. Prior to vanlife, he lived in cooperative housing and now brings the best of both worlds together to create community, collaboration, and unforgettable experiences.
Ellie Bousquett
Food Systems & Community Development
With nearly two years on the road, Ellie brings experience in food security, agriculture, and community development. She dreams of a Roamstead greenhouse where nomads grow fresh food together. You’ll find her playing in the dirt, making jewelry, or wrangling pups.
Josh Swider
Metal Magician, Shop Daddy & Proud Wiener Dad
Known as “Fab-Daddy,” Josh runs Applied Fabrication Services, turning nomads’ wildest metalwork ideas into reality. After five years of custom fabrication, he’s the guy you call when everyone else says it can’t be done.
Dexter
Builder, Vibe Enhancer & Chaos Coordinator
Seven years on the road and nine off-grid box truck conversions later, Dex is a builder, mechanic, and creative problem-solver. He loves tackling tricky projects, sharing his skills, and helping fellow nomads bring big ideas to life.
